Vaughan Mills Mall

Have you just had a really stressful day driving a taxi in Toronto or negotiating a really tough deal for your company? If so you deserve a break, and what better way to get one than by heading out for a little retail therapy? You don't even have to travel all the way back into Toronto proper to have a really stellar shopping experience, either. There's a humungous shopping mall right here in Vaughan! It's called Vaughan Mills, and it belongs to a series of massive "mills" ending malls scattered across the continent. For an overview of the mall, read on.

Stores

What are you shopping for? A wedding dress? A new pair of shoes? The new Harry Potter movie? Or do you just want to browse the R&B hip hop music? Whatever you're looking for, there's a store here at Vaughan Mills that can sell it to you. There are hundreds of stores: upscale, discount, outlet, franchise, and independent that specialize in accessories, clothing, health products, footwear, stationary, home furnishings, and sporting goods as well as the big box department stores that offer one stop shopping.

Services

Shopping isn't all there is to the Vaughn Mills Mall, however. There's also a myriad of eateries and services within the complex, so you can get haircuts, financial advice, acne treatments, and even Szechuan food on your visit. Popular services include the NASCAR Speedpark and the Lucky Strike bowling lanes. The mall also provides shopper services like stroller rentals, bottle warming, a nursing room, and group packages, tours, and shuttles for out of town visitors.

Events

The community kiosks at Vaughn Mills offer exposure for non-profit and community groups, and you will often see displays within the mall by businesses, such as Brampton wedding photographers or car dealers. The mall also hosts special events for the public such as flu shot clinics, art and music displays, and style and fashion seminars. Things change regularly, so check the mall calendar regularly for updates. The one thing that does remain constant is the early morning walking club: every day from 7am to 10am.

Visitor Info

Need to visit the mall straight from the offices of one of the downtown catering companies? Toronto's public transit system makes it easy. The bus terminal attached to the mall acts as a stop on six different York Region Transit bus routes. Connections to the Toronto system can be made at the Yorkdale Subway Station. Directions via car are easy to follow as well - just follow the signs from the 400 Highway. Regular shopping hours at 10am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 7pm Sunday. Anchor stores like Bass Pro Shops and services like restaurants often have extended hours, however.
